World traveller (by motorcycle) Peter Sever reports a best-in-the-world experience from within Canada. He and Hana are riding Newfoundland and he just emailed his enthusiastic praise to his long list of contacts.
This commercial, he assures us, is no exaggeration. “Please go”, he says. “Drive the village periphery with no schedule. Just explore.”
Peter included a photo of his own, so I’ll share it, too.

I love the way Newfoundland rock is pink coloured like the rock found in
Scotland.
Isn’t that because Newfoundland split off from the same body of rock that forms Scotland, then drifted to its present location? Loooooong, loooong ago.
lol it explains the music played, eh?
Tempting to think so, but it seems the split happened long before there were musicians. 🙂
