Rowyn got her gold

rowyn I asked for a photo from award ceremony day and it just came in, so I am sharing it. Everyone is very proud of Rowyn’s achievement.

Photo credits: Grandmother Mitz took the photos at the awards ceremony, but I also received a nice portrait of Rowyn at home (top right). The photographer for that one was Aidan, Rowyn’s sister, (top, centre) and she’s good with a camera, too. As you can see, good looks run in the family.
The top left photo shows Rowyn’s friend Daveen taking her turn on stage at the Chan Centre.

  3. Yes, I’d agree. Aidan has a good eye with a camera. It’s the way she frames the shot. Nice one.
    Maybe she’ll take a look at a program for Rowie’s friends name.

    BTW. Joni likes the way you frame shots but what I liked about your portrait of Rowyn was how you took advantage of the good natural lighting. I liked the candid look, too… natural, not posed looking.

  5. Thank you Joni and Bill for encouraging my girls. Aidan takes a lot of interesting pictures and has seen her pic posted. She loves to frame the ordinary and make it extraordinary.

  7. Well my goodness, A song Bird, now soaring with Eagles ! Congratulations Rowyn , thats is absolutely Fantastic ! Im very proud of you ! That is an achievement that you can cherish your whole life. You know, most people in there whole life time don’t put a foot print in history and you have already accomplished that at such a tender age !!! Well Done ! Love Grampa Ger.
