Trikers, actually. Kathleen went on her inaugural run today, Canada Day! She let Danica have a test ride, too. The verdict? Great wheels! It will take a bit of practice to get completely comfortable with riding, but the traffic in the area is very light. The terrain is pretty flat, too. Good thing. The trike has only one speed.
Note the excellent examples being set for kids. Helmets are not legally required for riders over 18, but they are still a must. [Editor’s note: Danica has had one point subtracted from her excellent example rating, due to the “Look Ma, no hands” pose.]
Kathleen received favourable reviews from neighbours as she passed by and I would like to add my own. Way to go!

I like your photos Bill. At the first look I saw same street. But it is just similar background. So it is not just for photo but you followed them. What bike you are riding?
Looks you are having great weather over there.
We have winter rains almost whole week here in Sydney.
Thank you for the compliment about my photos, Visnja, but I was given these two shots. Danica took one and Kathleen took the other. I wasn’t along when they went for their ride. All I can take credit for is the Photoshop work, sizing them to be alike, because you are quite right… they were taken on different streets (in the same neighbourhood).
While you have been having winter rain in Australia, we have been having an unusual amount of summer rain in Toronto. That’s why everything is looking so green and lush in the background.
It took a bit to get comfortable with the 3 wheeler, but you get the hang of it eventually. Actually a nice ride. We had helmets, and a bell – that sounds like an ice cream cart.
Two good looking young ladies on a lovely trike! Wonder will the girls fit in the basket on our next visit? Haha 😉
