Good news. Canada’s happy. Romney’s toast.
Now can we ask why our national TV broadcaster chose to waste its time duplicating coverage that was readily available on channels from the country where the election was actually being held? I really hate to sound like Stephen Harper, but why the heck are we paying for this kind of public service?

The one election result that CBC could have stressed was the defeat of Michigan’s Proposal 6 which opposed the building of a second bridge between Windsor and Detroit. BIG news! A billion dollar bridge, to be paid for entirely with Canadian tax dollars. A key crossover point for Canadian exports and a major part of Canada’s economic picture. Where did we hear that the anti-bridge campaign had been sunk? Not on CBC… on Huffington Post.
