The streetfest is my favourite part of the Beaches International Jazz Festival and two acts stood out for me last night… The Sultans of String (bought a CD) and Suzana d’Amour (great voice, performer and figure). There was a lot of talent on the street last night, all of it good. BIG crowd!
Police were out in greater numbers than last year but caused no trouble. (Remembering G20)

Here in Victoria we listened to the Victoria Symphony Orchestra play at Butchart Gardens….needed a parka once the sun went down!
