With twisted logic worthy of a Rob Ford, the Conservatives are sticking it to Elections Canada because the Conservatives were caught cheating in the last election.
It’s shoot the messenger time again in Harperland.
In the tradition of Orwell’s Newspeak language, rabidly partisan Pierre Poilievre is called the minister for democratic reform (meaning the opposite, of course). Similarly, the legislation is called the Fair Elections Act. Guess which party it favours. Guess what it does to the watchdog that caught the cheaters.

Love this Elizabeth May quote:
“The crisis in Canadian democracy is not that Canadians are voting more than once, it is that they are voting less than once.”
