Twitter has apparently barred reporter Guy Adams for offending an Olympics corporate sponsor (NBC). He published an NBC email address in a Tweet and NBC complained. Another example of Olympic corporate bullying? Censorship?
For me, it’s sad enough that Twitter is involved with the Olympics at all. Time to cancel my account again. Never used it much anyway.
[UPDATE] Predictably, NBC and Twitter have withered under public scorn, NBC withdrawing its snivelling whine and Twitter using this fig leaf to cover its own sycophantic urges. Guy Adams has had his Twitter account reinstated. I shall remain Twitter free.
