My pick for Customer Review of the Year

Detect a bit of buyer’s remorse in this short, yet positive assessment?

“It’s good butt don’t waste your money on it”

Wondering which of the millions of possible products drew this sage advice?

Imagine the videos and still shots you could get… around your neighbourhood, in the park, at the beach, at public events… bird’s eye views never possible before! That would be the “good” part.
“Good” also suggests that the images are clear and easy to make. The controls must work.
So why not waste your $340 plus tax on it? Many handheld consumer cameras cost more and they don’t offer the visual powers of Superman.
My guess is that the reviewer quickly tired of his (I will assume it’s a guy) new toy. There are probably many limitations to what one can do with such a flying camera. Trying for a unique look at a parade or public rally might get you a tasering. Security guards would probably take you down if you tried to explore the Eaton Centre arcade. Lawyers would love the business you’d provide if you crashed into your machine into people, pets or power lines.
It’s hard to justify spending nearly $400 to see if your eaves are full. Other practical uses elude me. Suggestions are welcome, though, because I’ll bet it would be a lot of fun to fly one, at least for the first couple of days.

  1. A nutritionist might guess it’s healthy and affordable..
“Why you should make your own nutrition bars (and how to do it)”

  2. Crawf makes his own nutrition bars and Danica has the list of ingredients. We’ve taken quite a flying leap past the airborne camera, haven’t we?
