You’ve heard of tennis-elbow. Now watch out for skype-knee.
It occurs when your spouse is seated comfortably in a chair, video-chatting with a friend. You join the conversation, kneeling on one knee to get on camera. For the next couple of days, you notice a pain in the knee that bore your weight during the chat. Skype-knee is temporary and goes away on its own.

Interesting…I have important preventative information. If comfortably seated spouse notices discomfort and offers the dining room chair she is sitting on, accept. If gesture is made to share the seat, also accept. Could chivalry be the root of Skype-knee? Wonder if it is related to Knight-knee?
Spousal agreement. I was offered a part of the chair or a chair of my own but chose the knee routine. I didn’t think of the skype-knee risk. Next time, I’ll know better… maybe.
