We can make out some of the faded words on the side of the Sideshow CafĂ© wall. It was a Pool & Billiards Parlor (No Minors). And we can make out “CAMPBELL’S” well enough. But what the heck did that big line of type say, above the newly painted black base?

I see a tall capital M starting a word that ends with “ch”. An “ar” appears to precede the “ch” and the number of other letters that word fit seem to make Monarch” a reasonable guess. I thought the short word following Monarch might start with an F, as in Farm but there is a Monarch Park in the vicinity and that F could just as well be a P. So I’m guessing Monarch Park.
There are letters before Monarch Park, but so far, I have no ideas about them.
Aha! That F was an F, as in Flour, not P as in Park. I found some history here:

So the ad was for Campbell’s Monarch Flour.
