Woodbine Avenue, then and now

I always enjoy looking at those “then & now” photos they run in local newspapers, so I did one myself today. I had a reason.
Woodbine has just been freshly paved… you can see the pylons still there because the lines haven’t been painted yet. I wanted a record of the date because I’m curious about how long it will be before city crews tear holes into it and patch it with bumps and pits. What’s your guess? A matter of weeks? Months?
BTW.
I could have stepped further out into the street, to shoot right down the middle and match the old photo angle. I decided I’d rather live for a while longer. So the pictures don’t match exactly, but there’s enough similarity to note a few changes. Look at the little rise that used to go up to the house. Flat now. Has the hill itself been regraded… perhaps when the road was widened and the utility poles were moved to the other side?

This is equal to 2 years, 9 months, and 26 days.
The new paving lasted longer than I though it would. Today (August 7, 2015), a crew is cutting through the asphalt and the concrete substrate at The corner of Eastwood and Woodbine. Big hole.
Further north, between Gerrard and Danforth, similar holes have been cut and patched.
