Our library system is AMAZING

slide-scanning
These thumbnails represent a tiny fraction of the 35mm slides I was able to digitize today using the equipment rental services of the Toronto Reference Library’s Digital Design Studio. Danica helped, making our 2-hour stint as productive as possible. Ten bucks an hour… about 220 slides scanned for $20. The price included a bit of instruction on how to use the scanner and software.
I had some clean-up to do when I got the files home. Preparing all of the images will take a while, but pretty soon these and many more thumbnails will become clickable links to a big gallery of Helen Andersen art.
